The Pennsylvania Chamber is Awarded Accreditation with Distinction

The United States Chamber of Commerce has awarded the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry with a rating of Accredited with Distinction.

Accreditation is the only national program that recognizes chambers for their effective organizational procedures, sound policies, corporate citizenship and impact on the state. In order to receive Accreditation, a chamber must meet minimum standards in their operations and programs, including areas of governance, government affairs, and technology. This extensive self-review can take up to nine months to complete.

State chambers are recognized as either Accredited State Chamber or Accredited State Chamber with Distinction. The final determination is made by the Accrediting Board, a committee of U.S. Chamber board members. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world's largest business federation representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions, as well as state and local chambers and industry associations.

The Pennsylvania Chamber thanks its members — the thousands of businesses throughout the Commonwealth who provide direction on legislative priorities and the valuable support that enables us to achieve our mission to act as "The Statewide Voice of Business™." Your efforts help us to articulate and advocate on those public policy issues that will expand private sector job creation and lead to a more prosperous Pennsylvania for all its citizens.
